Food Trucks @ BU

Growing up near New York City I have been spoiled by an abundance of food trucks. Ice-cream, cupcakes, tacos, burgers, falafel — all conveniently street-side and waiting to be sold from a window. Lately it seems that food trucks have become more and more trendy, especially in Boston. I hadn’t noticed or heard of food trucks in Boston up until this year when Roxy’s Grilled Cheese rolled into town. I haven’t had the chance to try it yet but as a fan of cheese I cannot wait... Read More

Bruins Fans Celebrate

I’m not the biggest sports guy, but even I can appreciate how cool it is that for the first time since 1972, the Bruins are bringing the Stanley Cup home to Boston. Before I lived in Boston, I relied almost exclusively on the subway to get around, never much caring for how it all connected above me. So my freshman year I set a goal for myself: figure... Read More

No Distractions.

David Bowie, 70s pop-star and actor was recently quoted saying, “People are so fucking dumb. Nobody reads anymore, nobody goes out and looks and explores the society and culture that they were brought up in. People have attention spans of 5 seconds and as much depth as a glass of water.” When I read that, I sat back and actually thought about it—because in my book, what Bowie has to say is usually of some importance. And I came to the conclusion that his assertion... Read More
