A couple of weeks ago several Secret Service agents allegedly hired prostitutes to their hotel room in Colombia. How many prostitutes? Reportedly 20 to 21 prostitutes were in their hotel room. These agents were in Colombia preparing for Obama’s arrival. Which was 2 days after the incident.

The first issue I have with these agents is that they are representing our country. They’re in Colombia protecting their president but also our identity as Americans. If government officials act as such abroad, imagine what foreigners must think Americans are like. I do however commend the actions taken by Homeland Security, which fired or placed all the agents on leave.

The second major problem I have with this story consists of security. If you’re a secret service officer, you should not find time to order prostitutes or go out drinking. As an agent you should be scoping out any possible attacks on the president. You have to check every corner of the vicinity where the president is scheduled to stay. Check the tops of building for snipers and weak spots through windows. WHERE DO YOU FIND TIME TO ORDER PROSTITUTES?

As an agent you have to think about your country and your president. Both seemed to be at the back of these agents’ perverted minds. America has to get back on track with its values, respect, and integrity.
