Tis bittersweet to leave this school
I came in shy, sweet, and maybe a fool
I leave here now with passion and pride
I cannot wait for that short, home, car ride
What adventures are coming this summer
It’s definitely not going to be a bummer
My grandma’s cooking is the best
Its time to put the dining hall to rest
The beach, the park, long summer nights
Maybe ill even fly a fresh kite
Basketball all day with my boys
Staying up late, making some noise
Its great to leave all the stress right here
I’ll be able to enjoy a family beer
I miss my family oh so much
But what about my BU bunch
Holy crap they’re gone, this is it
It didn’t hit me, not one bit
I’m leaving this school, I’m not at the Bean
This is a part of the end I have not seen
I’ll miss this school, yes I will
Except for that darn tuition bill
At least finals, I was able to defeat
But in the end – tis bittersweet.
