Welcome!

This is the digital library blog at Boston University. Anyone from the BU community wishing to post to it may do so – just email me and I’ll set you up with an account.

I currently plan to use this blog as a place to gather event announcements, pointers to interesting tools, thoughts on topics related to digital libraries and digital humanities in general, and relevant news items. The sky’s the limit, though.

You may also see postings from Jack Ammerman, the Head Librarian of the BU Theology Library, and possibly from other members of the emerging BU digital library community.

Comments, questions, disputes and pointers to interesting stuff we might otherwise miss are absolutely welcome. If you’d like to follow the blog but don’t use a feed reader, there’s an option at top right to have new post notifications mailed to you. There will be a flurry of them in the beginning, since I have a backlog, but in general Digilib will be unlikely to flood your inbox.

Hope you stick around!
